The Wizbang Story
Born in Montana in 2006, Wizbang was created by adventurous, fun-loving locals who needed activewear as bold and hardworking as their lifestyle. When we couldn’t find gear that kept up, we made our own—moisture-wicking, stay-put hats, headbands, skirts, arm sleeves, and neck gaiters designed for year-round adventure. Our colorful accessories don’t just perform—they refresh your look, making old gear feel new again!
Why “Wizbang”? The name comes from our founder’s childhood—when she took a tumble, her grandfather would cheerfully say, “Wizbang!” It only felt right to carry that same energy into our brand.
The Wizbang Journey
Pam Small took over Wizbang in 2014, bringing her love for the outdoors and active lifestyle to the brand. For over a decade, she ensured Wizbang’s gear kept up with adventurers everywhere.

In early 2025, Maren Winter, founder of Skyre Sports LLC, became the new owner of Wizbang Hats. With a passion for the outdoors, design, and headwear, she's brought operations to her home of Alpena, Michigan, located on the shores of Lake Huron.
Skyre Sports also operates Choucas® Hats and Dunebird Apparel, and Maren and her husband run their local bike shop, Harborside Cycle & Sport. When they’re not working, they’re exploring with their two rescue huskies, Carly Sue and Harvey.
